Temp Service Disruption at OAC 10/26/26-1/1/2027
Due to recent insufficient surrounding lighting at Oakland Coliseum station that will take time to restore, the following trains will NOT serve Oakland Coliseum station from Monday, October 26, 2026 to Friday, January 1, 2027:

Weekdays: Trains 521, 547, and 550
Weekends: Trains 746, 747, and 748

Capitol Corridor service at other stations will continue to operate as scheduled. Conductors will make announcements to keep passengers informed. Passengers may use nearby stations during these times, and conductors will honor tickets at adjacent stations. Passengers are encouraged to transfer to/from BART at Richmond station.

Construction Work at San Jose the Diridon Station (October 19-December 2026)
Beginning Monday, October 19 and continuing through December 2026, Caltrain will conduct concrete repairs and flooring improvements will take place at San Jose Diridon Station. Work will occur in phases and may temporarily affect access to platforms, ramps, and stairs. There will be no impacts to ADA access or elevator service. Expect minor delays of up to five minutes in and out of the station.

All passengers should follow track assignment signs at the station before heading to the tracks. Follow detour signs, check station monitors, and allow extra time to navigate the station.

Platform Lighting Update: Ongoing Repairs at OAC
Platform lights have been fully restored at Suisun-Fairfield (SUI) station and partially restored at Berkeley (BKY) station. Full restoration at Berkeley is expected within the next few days. Work is ongoing to restore the platform lights and streetlights at Oakland Coliseum (OAC) station, as well as the lighting along the ramp leading to the pedestrian bridge. We will provide updates as they become available.

Conductors will make announcements to keep passengers informed. Please use caution at Oakland Coliseum station during early-morning and late-night hours. Passengers may use nearby stations during these times, and conductors will honor tickets at adjacent stations.
